Pat Ready received the inaugural Origin Design Impact Award during the company’s annual holiday party held on January 24, 2025, at The Meadows Golf Club.
The "Impact Award" is a recognition program aimed at honoring individuals whose efforts have had a notable and positive influence on the company. This could include exceptional contributions in areas like innovation, leadership, teamwork or creating a lasting positive effect on the company's culture or growth. The award is flexible in nature, meaning it could be awarded on an annual basis to one or more individuals, or it could be given out as needed based on specific achievements that year. It’s a way to celebrate those who have gone above and beyond, driving success, or fostering positive change within the organization.
Pat had previously been nominated for the annual Waugh Award, an award given annually recognizing an Origin employee who exemplifies and supports the company’s Mission, Vision and Values. He graciously withdrew his name from consideration. In the nominations he received, he was recognized for his ability to bring out the best in people and help others grow through his role as President & CEO. One of his nominations noted that he “inspires me to work harder, continues to share knowledge, and embodies Origin’s Mission, Vision and Values.”
